Level II Dialysis Nursing Specialist
Headwaters Health Care Centre
Use specialized nursing expertise and BLS and ACLS certification as a regular part-time Level II Nurse with Headwaters Health Care Centre Dialysis. Care for patients within established standards.
The Registered Nurse performs daily general and specialized nursing assignments in the Dialysis Department. This position requires accountability to College of Nurses of Ontario practice standards and Headwaters-approved care standards. Candidates with recent in-center hemodialysis experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform expected Registered Nurse duties within Dialysis
Provide specialized nursing care and daily work assignments
Remain available for scheduled hours and required weekends
Provide availability during Christmas or New Year’s periods
Follow the Hospital’s prescribed availability submission process
Requirements:
Current certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Recent in-center hemodialysis experience preferred
CNA Nephrology Nursing Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Acceptable performance and attendance records
