Hospitality Tourism Technology Teacher
Halton District School Board
Teach Hospitality and Tourism technology at HDSB during the 2026–2027 school year through a long-term occasional secondary contract. Three LTO sections are available.
This Technological Education assignment includes TFJ2O and TFB3E sections scheduled during Semester 1. Applicants require Intermediate and/or Senior Hospitality and Tourism Technological Education qualifications. External candidates must hold Intermediate and Senior qualifications with at least two different Senior teachable subjects. Brightspace and online learning proficiency is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach assigned Hospitality and Tourism technological education sections
Deliver TFJ2O during Semester 1, Period 1
Deliver TFB3E during Semester 1, Periods 2 and 3
Support secondary learning during the 2026–2027 school year
Requirements:
Intermediate and/or Senior Hospitality and Tourism qualifications
Two different Senior teachable subjects for external candidates
Valid Ontario College of Teachers certificate in Good Standing
Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
Brightspace and online learning proficiency considered an asset
Bring Hospitality and Tourism qualifications, secondary teaching expertise, and Brightspace proficiency to HDSB classrooms.
