Automated Distribution Millwright Lead

Support automated distribution equipment as a Millwright Lead, using mechanical troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication skills on afternoon shifts.
This senior maintenance assignment combines hands-on millwright work with daily guidance for three to four technicians and cleaners. Maintain conveyors, packaging machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and building equipment. Coordinate installations, order parts, and implement reliability improvements while maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Read mechanical drawings, manuals, and maintenance procedures
Inspect and repair dock doors and racking systems
Perform welding and fabrication as required
Order parts and monitor maintenance inventory
Plan equipment reliability and efficiency improvements
Requirements:
Government Certificate of Qualification as Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A
Minimum seven years in automated distribution environments
Experience guiding maintenance technicians and cleaning personnel
Experience with conveyors and packaging machinery
Ability to prioritize breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests
Bring certified millwright experience, fabrication capability, and maintenance leadership to automated distribution operations.
