Entry Level Space Systems Engineer

This entry level Mechanical Engineering position supports Space Business products within the systems engineering group. You will work in a team environment, helping ensure customer program and project requirements are fulfilled. The work includes structural and spacecraft component analysis, vendor interaction, engineering documentation, and testing support.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform stress analysis of structural components
Perform thermal analysis of spacecraft components
Manage external vendors and coordinate prototype manufacture
Prepare drawings, plans, procedures, and engineering reports
Support assembly, environmental testing, and test-result interpretation
Requirements:
University degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
Degree completed at a recognized university
Eligibility for Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer enrollment
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
