This Health and Safety Coordinator role suits a proactive professional with three-plus years of experience. You will coach employees and subcontractors, promote safety-first practices, and contribute to inspections, audits, and investigations. The position also supports contractor compliance, JHSC activities, return-to-work programs, and improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safety training and coaching to employees
Promote safety-first practices across site stakeholders
Conduct inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
Investigate incidents and analyze root causes
Maintain records and monitor contractor compliance
Requirements:
Health and Safety post-secondary education or related field
Three-plus years in a Health and Safety role
Construction or industrial experience preferred
Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to travel
Legal eligibility to work and Canadian residency
