What We Need
As part of its evolving localization strategy, the Localization Coordination function serves as the operational bridge between Embedded Localization Production, Content Localization (CLOC), and Linguistic QA (LQA). We are looking for a

Localization Coordinator . In this role, you will drive the connection between developers, publishing teams, and localization stakeholders by owning the implementation of localization solutions and representing the localization effort to North American game teams for your native language.

driving
the evolution of the Global Localization department.
What You'll Do
Drive
logistical and operational support for local and regional localization stakeholders, ensuring high-level alignment across production, QA, and development partners.
Manage and optimize
asset flow tracking and coordination across multiple tools, serving as the primary point of contact for these activities to development teams during their standard working hours.
Own
language-related internationalization efforts by
proactively
identifying linguistic risks, recommending culturally appropriate content, and collaborating with developers to ensure a localization-friendly foundation.
Direct
tooling and pipeline support, including the creation of process documentation, oversight of feature testing, and synthesized feedback collection.
Ensure
certification and compliance readiness by
verifying
that localization deliverables, specifically for Simplified Chinese, consistently meet platform requirements and regional standards.
Lead
coordination between internal teams and external vendors to maintain high-quality delivery standards.
Leverage
expert-level native language knowledge to resolve complex linguistic questions,
pre-emptively
flagging culturally sensitive issues to support LQA teams.
Initiate and lead
internal projects to enhance localization consistency, automation, and scalability across the organization.
What Will Make You A Great Fit
4–6+ years
of experience in localization, production coordination, QA, or related fields in gaming or media.
Expert
organizational and communication skills; able to
independently
manage complex tasks across diverse stakeholders and platforms.
Mastery
of localization tools and workflows (e.g., TMS, CAT tools, Jira, CMS, Confluence, etc.) with the ability to optimize these systems.
Advanced understanding
of internationalization principles and/or platform certification processes.
Native or near-native fluency
in Simplified Chinese with strong English communication skills.
A
proactive approach
to problem-solving with a focus on identifying potential issues before they impact the pipeline.
Why Join Us?
As a
Localization Coordinator , you’ll operate at the intersection of language, production, and technology, ensuring your supported language is represented with precision and care. This is a chance to apply your growing expertise to real-world content while contributing to scalable, global localization success under the Global Loc 2.0 framework.
