Serve community patients as a Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacist, using prescription counselling and professional pharmacy services. Keep customers at the centre of care.
Manage Pharmacy operations while on duty, including dispensing medication and maintaining the dispensary. Provide consultations to customers and health care providers while practicing within regulatory requirements. Protect confidentiality, maintain required records, and support accurate prescription care.
Key Responsibilities:
Acknowledge customers approaching the Pharmacy
Provide counselling on prescription and nonprescription products
Dispense accurate and appropriate prescriptions
Communicate with health care professionals within care circles
Maintain records required by legislation and policy
Requirements:
Independent thinking and decision making
Ability to plan, coordinate, and delegate assignments
Strong customer relations and professionalism
Strong problem-solving and action-planning skills
Pharmacy systems knowledge is a definite asset
