Magnolia House seeks a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse for its community-based mental health facility. You will support psychiatric patients independently and within interdisciplinary teams. The work includes education, care planning, collaboration, and maintaining clinical competence.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to assigned psychiatric patients
Consult and collaborate with health care providers
Educate and support clients and families
Plan and implement patient care plans
Manage aggressive and suicidal behaviour
Requirements:

Current BCCNP registration as Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse
Mental Health Nursing certification or two years’ recent psychiatric experience
Knowledge of mental health treatments and community resources
Ability to respond appropriately during emergencies
Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
