Own senior living search strategy remotely from Canada, South Africa, or the USA, using technical SEO and content priorities to improve visibility.
As SEO Manager, Senior Living at Blacksmith Agency, you manage search for senior living operators and home care agencies. You set technical roadmaps, guide keyword strategy, and explain ranking changes to clients. The role focuses exclusively on search, while a separate strategist handles paid media.
Key Responsibilities:
Own technical SEO across crawl, indexation, speed, schema, and architecture
Set keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and content priorities
Improve visibility across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity
Manage links, local search, and multi-location SEO
Report in GA4 and Search Console; create quarterly roadmaps
Requirements:
Three or more years of hands-on SEO experience
Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
Clear spoken English for live calls with US clients
Senior living or similar multi-location SEO experience is a strong plus
