Assistant Store Manager Retail Operations

Lead retail operations through customer service and team development as an Assistant Store Manager supporting daily store activities and associates.
This Assistant Store Manager helps the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates. The position supports store functions, merchandise flow, opening and closing procedures, and promotional displays. Strong communication, organization, customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily store functions and activities
Help customers and address questions or concerns
Transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to sales floors
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
Requirements:
Retail, grocery, or drug store management experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to interpret and explain operational directives
Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
