Develop Power BI dashboards and project reporting skills as a Junior Reporting Analyst Co-op with Aecon in Hamilton, Ontario. Support data analytics within a major infrastructure project.
This winter co-op begins in January 2027 within Aecon’s Integrated Operational Controls team. You will support project reporting, dashboard development, performance measurement, and continuous improvement. The work covers cost, schedule, resource, financial, and operational information for the Hamilton LRT.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and project reports
Collect, organize, validate, and reconcile project data
Analyze trends, variances, and key performance indicators
Document reporting processes, KPI definitions, and data requirements
Support continuous improvement and reporting automation initiatives
Requirements:

Current enrollment in a university or college co-op program
Study in analytics, business, engineering, computer science, or related discipline
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or similar tools
Exposure to SQL, DAX, Python, R, or Power Query
Strong analytical, organizational, and data-quality attention skills
Bring analytical thinking, Power BI familiarity, and careful data validation to Aecon’s Hamilton LRT reporting team.
