Operate metal cleaning equipment and hand tools as a full-time Labourer in a physical metal products manufacturing workplace. This permanent job requires on-site work.
The Labourer supports metal product manufacturing by removing excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials. Daily work includes transporting materials, products, and equipment throughout the plant. You will read work orders, clean machines, and maintain immediate work areas while standing for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate equipment to clean metal product surfaces
Transport materials, products, and equipment throughout the plant
Grind or chip excess metal using hand tools
Clean machines and immediate work areas
Read and interpret work orders
Requirements:

Reliability in a physically demanding workplace
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to transport items using powered equipment
Ability to transport materials manually throughout the plant
Authorization to work in Canada
Apply metal cleaning, grinding, transportation, and work-order reading skills in this permanent on-site manufacturing position.
