Protect AMD facilities as a Security Guard in Markham, Ontario, using patrol, surveillance, emergency response, and customer service skills.
Commissionaires Great Lakes seeks a Commissionaire for an existing vacancy at 160 McNabb Street. Under general supervision, you will safeguard property, protect people, identify irregularities, and inspect safety and fire-protection equipment. The position requires clear communication and sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol facilities and monitor areas for hazards, theft, and violations
Verify doors, windows, gates, and other access points
Respond to fires, spills, medical incidents, and threats
Investigate alarms, disturbances, and unusual activities
Prepare reports and maintain communication with the 24hrs GSOC
Requirements:
Ontario Secondary School Diploma
Ontario Security Guard License and valid First Aid and CPR certificate
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Flexibility for scheduled and unscheduled hours
Excellent English communication and customer service skills
