About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Designer / Draftsperson with experience using SolidWorks to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a solid foundation in 3D modeling and drafting and is eager to expand their skills and grow with our company.
Location: Tidal Marine - Saint John NB
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
Create and modify 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
Assist with product design, development, and engineering projects
Maintain drawing revisions and documentation
Collaborate with team members to solve design and production challenges
Ensure designs meet quality, manufacturing, and project requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the design process
Qualifications
Experience using SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drafting
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Problem-solving mindset
Preferred
Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or product design
Knowledge of sheet metal, weldments, or mechanical assemblies
Familiarity with engineering or production environments
