Part-time Professors, Social Service Worker Program
Cambrian College
Cambrian College’s School of Community Services requires part-time Professors to teach within the Social Service Worker program beginning January 2027.

Required:
A Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree. (A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application *** For education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application).
Active registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
A minimum of five years of demonstrated professional experience in the social work field, including one-on-one client work.
Experience developing and facilitating community-based and group programming using a social work lens.
Experience applying anti-oppressive and decolonizing frameworks in professional practice.
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, think critically, and communicate effectively and professionally.
Ability to model ethical and professional practice in the classroom.
Ability to utilize creative and inclusive teaching strategies to support student learning and success.
Strong organizational skills and proficiency with presentation software and digital learning tools.
Ability to participate effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
Additional Assets/Preferred:
Master's degree in social work
Counselling experience
Availability to teach during daytime hours
Availability to participate in program meetings
Previous teaching experience at the postsecondary level
Knowledge of Indigenous perspectives and an understanding of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s (TRC) Calls to Action
