Provide patient-centered nursing care at Grande Prairie Rgnl Hospital as a Registered Nurse, using critical thinking and clinical decision-making. Casual relief shifts include days, nights, and weekends.
AHS seeks a Registered Nurse for Unit 23 Medicine. You will serve patients, families, communities, and populations through nursing processes, problem solving, and decision making. The position supports safe care, health promotion, education, counseling, advocacy, and an integrated holistic approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities
Use critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making
Teach, counsel, and advocate for patients and families
Support integrated and holistic patient care approaches
Ensure patient safety, well-being, and quality care
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited nursing education program
Active or eligible CRNA registration and practice permit
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Health Care Provider certification
Satisfactory criminal record check or Vulnerable Sector Search
Ability to work days, nights, and weekends
