This experienced Accountant supports day-to-day accounting and financial reporting. The assignment emphasizes month-end close, quarter-end close, intercompany reconciliations, fixed assets, leases, and Excel. You will also contribute to accounting process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Complete intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Maintain fixed asset schedules and handle lease accounting
Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
Requirements:

Strong hands-on full-cycle accounting experience
Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany, fixed assets, and leases
Proficiency with a large ERP system and Excel
CPA designation or progress toward completion is an asset
Availability for a six-month onsite Vaughan contract
