Industrial Production Area Supervisor

Lead industrial production scheduling and safety at Interpro Pipe & Steel in Camrose or Red Deer, supporting continuous operations and crew performance.
As Area Supervisor, you will direct production activities, coordinate training, and guide a unionized work team. The position supports safety, production, quality, and recovery targets while minimizing costs and labour relations issues. Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and operational reporting are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and direct daily production activities
Schedule, direct, coordinate, train, and lead crews
Conduct monthly safety meetings
Report mechanical and electrical concerns immediately
Engage employees in continuous improvement
Requirements:
College diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum two years’ industrial operations experience
Experience leading unionized work teams
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and OH&S standards
Availability for 24/7 operations, including night shifts
