Senior Mechanical Engineer Technical Lead

Lead mechanical engineering projects remotely with HVAC expertise and technical coordination at Williams Engineering Canada. Support resilient communities across Western and Northern Canada.
As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager and Engineering Manager as Technical Lead. The position supports project production, client service, interdisciplinary coordination, and technical capability. Your work may include HVAC, energy analysis, equipment selection, piping, plumbing, and sustainable design.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate technical information with Project Managers and engineering teams
Identify innovative approaches to mechanical engineering challenges
Review reports and mentor junior teammates
Resolve mechanical, construction, cost, and contractor conflicts
Prepare designs, specifications, recommendations, and technical reports
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
P.Eng. status with the appropriate provincial association
Minimum four to six years of experience
Application knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Microsoft Office 365
Ability to apply codes, regulations, and HVAC criteria
Bring technical leadership, HVAC knowledge, and clear communication to mechanical projects supporting Williams Engineering Canada’s communities.
