Supervise students at St. Mary Immaculate in Richmond Hill, promoting safety, kindness, inclusivity, and positive lunchtime interactions. This permanent role offers five hours weekly.
YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD seeks a Lunchtime Supervisor under the School Principal’s direction. You will monitor students indoors and outdoors, support appropriate play, communicate concerns, and help maintain a safe, caring, positive environment. The position runs for 10 months and starts immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students indoors and outdoors during lunch breaks
Monitor behavior and encourage respect, kindness, and inclusivity
Report misconduct and atypical situations to school leadership
Support appropriate play and monitor out-of-bounds areas
Assist with emergencies, training sessions, and staff meetings
Requirements:
Less than high school graduation plus additional training or education
Minimum one month of required experience
Good communication skills and a positive demeanor
Ability to monitor multiple activities and attend student needs
Experience working with children and respecting confidentiality
Support student safety and positive school experiences through attentive supervision, communication, and inclusive lunchtime engagement at St. Mary Immaculate.
