YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD seeks a permanent Lunchtime Supervisor for a 10-month assignment. Under the Principal’s direction, you will monitor students, encourage respectful interactions, and promote a safe, caring, positive environment during lunch.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students indoors and outdoors during lunch breaks
Monitor student behavior and encourage respectful, kind interactions
Report misconduct incidents and concerns to the Principal
Support appropriate play and monitor out-of-bounds areas
Assist with emergency situations, training, and meetings
Requirements:
Less than high school graduation plus additional training or education
Minimum one month of required experience
Good communication skills and a positive demeanor
Ability to monitor multiple activities and respect confidentiality
Experience working with children and attending to physical needs
Bring student supervision, communication, and inclusive conduct skills to support lunchtime safety at St. Mary Immaculate.
