Automotive Mould Maker Level 3
Tycos Tool & Die
Build large automotive moulds as a Level 3 Mould Maker using precision fitting, machining, and assembly skills. Work on day and afternoon rotation shifts.
This Mould Maker position builds, modifies, repairs, tests, and delivers moulds and tooling. You will interpret tool designs as three-dimensional solid objects while laying out, machining, fitting, assembling, and finishing metal parts. Tool and Die Makers will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Fit and spot cores to cavities with high precision
Wire and assemble hot runner systems
Plan efficient workflows for assigned mould-making tasks
Document customer discussions, instructions, and information exchanges
Record non-conformances causing rework or tool delays
Requirements:
Level 3 Mould Maker experience or equivalent capabilities
Ability to interpret tool designs into three-dimensional objects
TIG welding experience with major components is an asset
Ability to interact with Engineering, Scheduling, Machining, and Management
Willingness to travel within Ontario and internationally as required
