Registered Early Childhood Educator Leader

Lead child-centered programming as a Registered Early Childhood Educator at JMFC YMCA in Sarnia, using YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum.
This Child Care Leadership Program supports children aged zero to six and their families. You will mentor program educators, including supply staff, while maintaining consistent care, safety, and inclusion. The position requires RECE experience in licensed childcare and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver child-centered programs for children aged zero to six
Mentor program educators and supply staff through YMCA curriculum guidance
Maintain clean, organized, professional, child-ready classrooms
Provide compassionate care and support to children and families
Ensure safety and follow CCEYA, municipal, and YMCA procedures
Requirements:
Registered CECE member in good standing
Leadership skills and RECE licensed childcare experience
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Current Vulnerable Criminal Reference Check under six months old
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
