Support children and families as a Registered Early Childhood Educator at the E.C. Drury YMCA Child Care Centre in Milton. Plan child-centred programs and provide compassionate care.
The YMCA of Greater Toronto seeks a full-time Registered Early Childhood Educator for its Milton location. You will deliver YMCA Playing to Learn and Place to Connect curricula, build family relationships, and document children’s development. The position serves children from infancy through school age.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver consistent child-centred programming
Provide compassionate care and support to children and families
Build relationships and communicate children’s progress with parents
Supervise children and maintain safety under licensing requirements
Observe learning and complete required documentation
Requirements:
Early Childhood Educator Diploma
Registration or registration-in-process with the College of Early Childhood Educators
At least six months’ experience working with children
Valid Standard or Intermediate First Aid and CPR Level C
Ability to work outdoors year-round and lift up to 20 kilograms
Bring early learning, child supervision, family communication, and documentation skills to the YMCA’s Milton childcare community.
