This Cook supports Irving Oil’s branded employee experience within the Café. The work includes preparing meats, fish, vegetables, soups, sandwiches, salads, and hot grill products. You will portion ingredients, maintain food quality, and support café operations, inventory control, cleaning, and menu input.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare meats, fish, vegetables, soups, sandwiches, and salads
Portion food products before cooking and service
Maintain safe temperatures for cooking and storage
Rotate stock and verify ingredient freshness
Close kitchen stations using required checklists
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalency
Three to five years’ food service cooking experience
Strong line work, preparation, and production experience
Excellent time management and organization skills
Strong communication skills and friendly energetic attitude
Bring technical cooking skills, organized preparation, and dependable café operations support to Irving Oil’s Saint John Home Office.
