Accepted qualifications include a PSW certificate, RN or RPN registration, completed nursing clinical placements, Developmental Support Worker Diploma, or foreign-trained nursing credentials.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal support during community care shifts
Travel between clients using a personal vehicle
Work scheduled days or evenings and alternate weekends
Deliver care while maintaining required physical movement
Participate in ongoing training and mentorship
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and vehicle required daily
Current Standard CPR level C and First Aid
Current vulnerable sector check required
Meet MMR, Varicella, TB, and Tetanus immunization requirements
Lift approximately fifty-five pounds and climb stairs
