This Personal Support Worker position serves Veterans Care Program patients and residents in London, Ontario. You will provide support under Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse supervision. Care includes individuals affected by chronic illness, physical or mental health problems, and dementia.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide quality care for patients and residents
Assist with daily living activities and substantial care needs
Help Veterans reach their full capability safely
Support families as changing needs develop
Engage in assigned clinical teaching and research activities
Requirements:

Personal Support Worker Certificate Program graduate
Knowledge of healthcare safety culture and OHSA compliance
Experience caring for long-term and continuing care patients
Positive interpersonal relationships and effective communication skills
Flexibility, organization, and physical capacity for required duties
Bring long-term care experience, safe body mechanics, and dependable teamwork to Personal Support Worker duties supporting Veterans.
