Part Time Dental Hygienist Halifax

Deliver preventive dental hygiene care at Lakeside Dental in Bayers Lake while educating patients and supporting personalized treatment.
As a part-time Dental Hygienist, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care services. The position serves patients of all ages in a collaborative Halifax practice led by Dr. Ellen Drysdale and Dr. Joseph K. Carter. Your work will combine clinical hygiene services with oral health education, patient counselling, and tailored experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care services
Perform scaling, root planing, polishing, and topical fluoride
Apply pit and fissure sealants and provide whitening
Introduce preventive techniques and counsel patients on oral health
Maintain ethical, professional behaviour while building patient loyalty
Requirements:
Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree required
Current provincial Dental Hygienist registration in good standing
Valid CPR certification required
Availability three days weekly: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday
Availability from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Bring preventive hygiene, patient education, and compassionate care to Lakeside Dental’s Bayers Lake practice three days weekly.
