About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Field Service Driver to support their operations in the Kimberley area. This role involves more than just driving; you will be responsible for transporting technicians, equipment, and materials to various client sites across the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent navigational skills, and maintains a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and field teams. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that our field services run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
Transport field service technicians, tools, and equipment to specified job sites in and around Kimberley .
Ensure all equipment and materials are loaded securely and arrive at the destination intact.
Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the service vehicle.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies during transit.
Provide assistance to technicians on-site as needed, within the scope of the role.
Maintain accurate logs of travel, mileage, and any site visit details.
Requirements
Valid Code 08 or Code 10 Driver's License with a current PDP.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a driving role, preferably with field service or logistics.
Good knowledge of Kimberley and surrounding areas' road infrastructure.
Ability to work flexible hours if required by service demands.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional attitude and customer-focused approach.
