Apply your intravenous admixture expertise at North Bay Regional Health Centre as a CIVA Pharmacy Technician in a hospital pharmacy.
This Regulated Pharmacy Technician role requires Ontario certification and at least three years of hospital IV rotation experience. You will support pharmacy operations using judgment, analytical skills, computer skills, and safety-focused practices. Hospital pharmacy experience, automated technologies, and Meditech knowledge are assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare for centralized intravenous admixture pharmacy work
Apply excellent judgment in pharmacy-related activities
Use analytical skills to support safe decisions
Contribute to prevention of adverse health events
Protect patients, workers, volunteers, and visitors
Requirements:
Graduate from a Pharmacy Technician course or equivalent
Certified by the Ontario College of Pharmacists
Minimum three years of hospital IV rotation experience
Required computer skills, including Microsoft Word
Advanced English and French bilingualism required
Bring regulated pharmacy certification, hospital IV experience, and safety-focused judgment to CIVA services at North Bay Regional Health Centre.
