Human Resources Generalist Recruitment

Support recruitment and HR operations as a Human Resources Generalist, using employee relations and HRIS expertise in an office or manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the HR Manager, this Generalist supports an assigned business unit across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and policy guidance. The work includes employment legislation, reporting compliance, benefits administration, and organizational culture initiatives. Payroll and benefits responsibilities represent 15% of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate screening, interviews, offers, and background checks
Conduct new hire orientation and maintain personnel records
Support investigations, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans
Administer benefits, pensions, leave, and workers compensation claims
Resolve payroll issues and maintain Payworks time-off tracking
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
Three to five years' HR Generalist experience
HRPA CHRL or CHRP designation, or progress toward designation
Full cycle recruitment experience within a Talent Flow System
Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR compliance
