Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist

Produce diagnostic MRI images at South Health Campus while applying patient positioning, MRI safety, and equipment maintenance expertise across assigned shifts.
As an MRI Technologist I, you will serve Diagnostic Imaging Services at South Health Campus and South Calgary Health Centre MRI. You will prepare patients, review histories, explain procedures, and produce images for Radiologist or Cardiologist interpretation. This regular part-time position requires all shifts and on-call assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality magnetic resonance images as ordered
Record images for Radiologist or Cardiologist interpretation
Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations
Explain procedures and respond to patient needs
Maintain MRI equipment and apply safety techniques
Requirements:
Accredited MRI diploma or qualifying certificate and diploma
Active or eligible CAMRT registration
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
Current or eligible ACMDTT registration in good standing
Technical, computer, organizational, and communication skills
Support patient-centred Diagnostic Imaging Services through accurate MRI scanning, safe practice, and attentive patient care at South Health Campus.
