Senior Audiovisual Event Technician

Operate advanced audiovisual systems in Ottawa while troubleshooting equipment and delivering customer satisfaction across hospitality events.
ENCORE seeks a Technical Services Coordinator for full-time event venue and warehouse work. The position requires advanced audiovisual operation, project coordination, customer communication, and problem solving. You will support event plans, equipment deployment, monitoring, and technical standards while mentoring technicians in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and break down audiovisual equipment
Troubleshoot equipment and software issues during events
Coordinate equipment and labor requirements with operations
Monitor events and check customer needs throughout the day
Maintain secure equipment and follow safety measures
Requirements:
High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
Two to three-plus years audiovisual experience required
Two to three-plus years hospitality experience preferred
Valid driver’s license required for applicable vehicle positions
Additional DOT requirements may apply
