Interior Health seeks an experienced, reliable, flexible, and motivated Community Health Worker. You will support clients’ independence and ability to remain at home while working with Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. The position contributes to each client’s home health care plan through personal care, daily living assistance, and delegated tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene assistance
Complete household duties supporting safe, healthy home environments
Prepare meals according to designated plans
Assist clients with mobility and transfers
Observe and report changes in behaviour and condition
Requirements:
Experience as a Community Health Worker
Reliable, flexible, and motivated approach to client care
Ability to perform delegated tasks according to training
Availability for rotating day and evening shifts
Interest in patient-centered, community-based support
Support client independence through personal care, mobility assistance, and home health services with Interior Health in Lillooet.
