Deliver outstanding guest service as a Market Ambassador at Time Out Market Vancouver, using POS payments and venue knowledge. Work in a high-volume food and cultural venue.
This Market Ambassador role supports memorable guest experiences through accurate transactions and attentive communication. You will process cash, credit card, comps, and other tender types while answering questions about venues, menus, and pricing. The work includes kiosk operations, event spaces, sanitation, and guest concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare guest checks through POS terminal functions
Process payments and complete proper checkout procedures
Provide courteous information about venues, menus, and pricing
Maintain clean kiosks, rotating consumable items properly
Report complaints, incidents, hazards, and equipment failures
Requirements:
Effective English communication with staff, clients, and public
Basic mathematical ability and strong problem-solving skills
Positive attitude, composure, integrity, and confidentiality
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Serving It Right certification preferred
