Trailer Technician Fleet Maintenance

Diagnose trailer issues and complete repairs as a Trailer Technician with TransX, using brake, tire, welding, and inspection skills.
TransX Trailer Technicians work with Service Writers and other Technicians on preventative maintenance and fleet repairs. This role supports timely, efficient service across TransX’s tractor, trailer, and intermodal fleet. Technicians diagnose inspection findings and prescribe corrective action.
Key Responsibilities:

Complete preventative maintenance on the TransX trailer fleet
Diagnose problems identified during inspections
Perform brake, tire, and wheel-end repairs
Repair panels, scuff liners, and minor structures
Replace wheel seals and diagnose ABS systems
Requirements:

Minimum five years of mobile technician experience
Required technician license
Ability to obtain CVIP Certification
Experience with torch and welding capabilities
Knowledge of common occupational skills
Apply trailer maintenance, structural repair, and diagnostic skills while supporting TransX’s repair standards and fleet operations.
