Senior Mid-Market Lending Analyst

Support senior and junior debt transactions as a Senior Analyst with EDC, applying financial modeling and credit assessment skills. Work hybrid from Calgary, Vancouver, or Winnipeg.
EDC seeks a Senior Analyst for its regionally delivered Mid-Market Lending Program. You will support financing opportunities for medium-large Canadian businesses pursuing international growth and export revenue. The work includes financial analysis, credit assessment, transaction execution, and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and progress financing opportunities within program objectives
Prepare financial models, cash flow analyses, and transaction materials
Assist with financial, legal, and business due diligence
Draft credit memorandum sections for governance committees
Monitor portfolio covenants, performance, and emerging risks
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field
Approximately 2-3+ years of relevant corporate lending experience
Foundational financial analysis, credit assessment, and modeling experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn
Bring financial modeling, credit analysis, and transaction support skills to EDC’s Mid-Market Lending team across Western Canada.
