Respiratory Therapist Acute Care Lethbridge

As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will support Respiratory Health and Outpatient Cardiology at Chinook Regional Hospital. The hospital includes intensive care, neonatal, pediatric, trauma, operating room, and inpatient services. You will assess patients, develop care plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with clinical teams to enhance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients and develop respiratory therapy care plans
Monitor patient progress across supported hospital areas
Manage diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and interventions
Train healthcare providers in respiratory equipment use
Educate patients and families about treatments and medications
Requirements:
Active or eligible College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta registration
Current BLS HCP certification
Recent acute or critical care experience within five years
Ability to work 11.08-hour day and night rotations
Strong communication, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
Bring respiratory assessment, care planning, and clinical collaboration skills to Chinook Regional Hospital’s varied patient population.
