Truck Service Shop Foreperson

Lead day-shift truck service operations with technical guidance, technician support, and a strong focus on service quality at Rush Truck Centres.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Shop Foreperson provides technical and administrative support during daily dealership operations. This position maintains service quality, supports profitability, and ensures safe work practices. The role also coordinates shop work, reviews repair orders, and communicates with customers and Service Advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
Support technicians with technical and administrative guidance
Maintain service quality and assist with shop-floor jobs
Coordinate shop scheduling and monitor job status
Review repair orders for complete, accurate information
Ensure OHSA compliance and safe work practices
Requirements:
Licensed 310T Technician with certification
Good communication skills and work attitude
Quality-driven approach to service operations
Software and computer proficiency
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
