Teach Grade 3 French Immersion at St. Francis with bilingual communication and differentiated instruction in a long term occasional assignment. This is a 1.0 FTE opportunity.
The Sudbury Catholic District School Board seeks an occasional teacher for a Grade 3 French Immersion assignment. The position requires Primary Division qualification, French as a Second Language qualifications, and Ontario College of Teachers membership. Strong assessment practices, classroom management, and Catholic education alignment support instruction. The assignment ends no later than the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Grade 3 French Immersion students at St. Francis
Apply differentiated instructional approaches within the classroom
Use diagnostic assessments to inform teaching and learning
Integrate Catholic School Graduate Expectations into classroom practice
Support technology, innovation, and creativity in learning
Requirements:
Current good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
Qualification in Primary Division
Additional qualifications in French as a Second Language
Excellent oral and written English and French communication
Knowledge of IPRC and IEP planning and programming
Bring bilingual communication, evidence-based assessment, and effective classroom management to Grade 3 French Immersion instruction at St. Francis.
