Apply risk analysis and broker service expertise as a Transportation Insurance Underwriter with Revau in Canada’s Atlantic region. Manage endorsements and submissions.
Reporting to the AVP – Transport, you will handle new business submissions and renewals while supporting transportation underwriting across Canada when needed. The position involves collaborating with underwriting teams, broker partners, operations teams, and other stakeholders. Your work will deliver tailored solutions, follow underwriting guidelines, and support profitability objectives. Candidates with brokerage, transportation, or trucking experience can transition to the insurer side.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess requested changes and determine coverage and pricing adjustments
Handle broker requests accurately, professionally, and promptly
Document underwriting decisions and maintain file integrity
Review selected renewal accounts and obtain required referrals
Support Canadian transportation portfolio growth and operational improvements
Requirements:

Two to four years in property and casualty insurance or related work
Experience processing endorsements, administration, or underwriting preferred
Knowledge of automobile or commercial insurance is an asset
Strong analytical, organizational, follow-up, and prioritization skills
Accurate, detail-oriented file handling and operational interest
Bring transportation underwriting, endorsement management, and broker service skills to Revau’s growing Canadian insurance organization.
