Health Safety Environment Coordinator
GTel
Support injury prevention, compliance, and COR® certification as GTel’s Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator in London, Ontario. This full-time role is on-site.
You will support GTel and PVS operations serving a primarily field-based workforce of more than 850 employees. The position covers Damage Prevention and Energy Services across Ontario and Alberta, with work involving training systems, incident reporting, disability claims, and Joint Health and Safety Committees. You will help advance safety performance and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support legislative compliance initiatives across workplace safety and occupational health
Organize COR® evidence files and track audit progress
Prepare return-to-work plans and WCB injury reports
Administer training assignments and monitor employee compliance
Record JHSC meetings, minutes, inspections, and follow-up actions
Requirements:
Post-secondary Occupational Health and Safety education
Minimum one-year Occupational Health and Safety certificate
Two to three years of HSE experience
Field-based, construction, utilities, or industrial environment experience
Working knowledge of Ontario and Alberta safety legislation
Bring HSE coordination, compliance monitoring, training administration, and injury prevention expertise to GTel and PVS operations.
