The acute Medical team at Langley Memorial Hospital needs Registered Nurses for inpatient care. You will assess patient needs, make nursing diagnoses, coordinate interventions, and evaluate outcomes. The work includes quality improvement, education, mentoring, and collaboration with the interprofessional care team.
Key Responsibilities:
Make nursing diagnoses using collected patient information
Prioritize care and coordinate support staff tasks
Participate in research and quality improvement activities
Maintain current clinical competence and knowledge
Precept or mentor nursing staff and students
Requirements:
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
Current BCCNM practicing registration as Registered Nurse
Ability to integrate data and solve problems
Ability to use relevant computer applications
Ability to support evidence-informed nursing decisions
Use nursing judgment, evidence-informed practice, and care coordination skills to support Fraser Health’s acute Medical patients.
