Remote Bilingual Collections Advisor

Support BMO customers remotely from Ontario through informed bilingual advice, payment strategies, and professional service for complex collections matters. Analyze accounts and guide resolutions.
This Bilingual Account Specialist role sits within BMO Customer Shared Services and focuses on customer needs connected to delinquent, high-risk, and written-off accounts. You will provide advice on payments, manage calls and transactions, and build trust through responsive service. You will also support reporting, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact customers about applications and payment status
Provide collections-related sales and service
Develop action plans to maximize recovery
Escalate complex customer situations appropriately
Integrate information for efficient reporting
Requirements:
Bilingual ability for customer interactions
Professional and efficient telephone communication
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Ability to interpret account data
Ability to follow approved procedures
Bring bilingual communication, account analysis, and payment guidance to BMO’s remote collections service supporting customers across Ontario.
