This part-time position connects speakers across healthcare, government, insurance, finance, law enforcement, education, and other industries. You will interpret conversations on demand, including simple, complex, technical, and sensitive subjects. LanguageLine provides interpreter support and training.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle on-demand Fulani-English telephone interpreting sessions
Render accurate concepts without omissions or additions
Follow client instructions and established interpretation protocols
Remain calm during emotional or emergency calls
Maintain punctuality and availability during work hours
Requirements:

Fluency in Fulani and English
Strong listening, retention, and note-taking skills
Cultural competency and regional accent awareness
High school diploma or equivalent
Legal authorization to work in Canada
