Advance BRAVE medical imaging technology through software architecture, automated testing, and artificial intelligence at Université de Sherbrooke’s 3IT. This full-time position is based in Canada.
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will help transform a breast stiffness mapping prototype into a robust, scalable platform. The project involves modular infrastructure, software quality practices, computer vision, data management, and system validation. You will work with Prof. Jean-Baptiste Michaud, Prof. Elijah Van Houten, and Prof. Valérie Grandbois across engineering and CRCHUS.
Key Responsibilities:

Modernize distributed software architecture toward modular infrastructure
Deploy version control, quality assurance, and automated testing
Design performance evaluation, optimization, and validation tools
Integrate metadata management and access control infrastructures
Enhance user interfaces with research teams and end users
Requirements:

PhD or equivalent in engineering, computer science, or related discipline
Software architecture experience with complex software systems
Knowledge of software lifecycle management practices
Ability to work independently with scientific rigor
Effective multidisciplinary collaboration and communication in French or English
Bring medical imaging, software architecture, and quality management expertise to the BRAVE platform’s technological maturation.
