AgeCare Dietary Service Aide

Support resident dining at AgeCare through courteous meal service, food preparation, and safe kitchen operations in a long-term care residence.
The Dietary Aide supports meal setup, preparation, serving, and cleanup for residents and guests. This role includes beverages, salads, desserts, tray delivery, dishware cleaning, and dining-area upkeep. You will also support catering, theme events, and new employee orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve meals professionally and courteously to residents and guests
Prepare beverages, salads, desserts, and other service items
Set and clear dining tables and deliver trays
Clean dishware and cutlery after each seating
Support catering, theme events, and employee orientation
Requirements:
Food Handler's Certificate
Food Service Worker Training enrollment or completion
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to lift hot, heavy items and stand or walk
Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
Bring food service, customer care, and safe meal support skills to AgeCare’s resident-focused dining operations.
