Health Care Aide Resident Support
Covenant Care
Support residents with personal care and social needs as a Health Care Aide at Covenant Care. Work within a home-like environment.
This Health Care Aide supports residents, families, and visitors while promoting independence, choice, dignity, privacy, and individuality. The position requires compassionate care, clear communication, active listening, and confidentiality. You will assist with recreation, leisure activities, and end-of-life support while following Covenant Care protocols, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and social support to residents
Support recreation and leisure activity participation
Respect resident choice, culture, spirituality, and individuality
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 education
Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate
Proof of Alberta Health Care Aide Directory enrollment
Fluent English reading, writing, and verbal communication
Required communicable disease vaccinations under Covenant Care policy
Bring resident support, communication, confidentiality, and compassionate care to Covenant Care’s Health Care Aide team.
