At Trench Canada, this 8 to 12 month internship supports the Strategic Procurement group within an energy transmission manufacturing location. You will gain exposure to pricing, negotiations, contracts, vendor management, and indirect supply chain activities. The work includes supplier qualification, evaluation, development, and classification.
Key Responsibilities:

Support end to end supplier management processes
Maintain, organize, and distribute procurement records
Create procurement data reports using Excel and PowerPoint
Analyze requests for quote and total ownership costs
Manage the vendor setup process
Requirements:

Undergraduate student in commerce, business, engineering, or law
Second year or higher, or recent graduate
Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively
Develop supplier management, procurement analysis, and contract support skills with Trench Canada in Pickering, Ontario.
