Personal Support Worker Resident Care

Provide resident care at AgeCare by following care plans, observing needs, and supporting a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
As a Personal Support Worker, you will monitor care, report findings, and document resident information as directed. You will also support bedside care, sanitation, and infection prevention practices. The role includes participating in education sessions, meetings, workshops, and onboarding new staff when directed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care according to established resident care plans
Observe residents and report findings to the immediate supervisor
Document information related to resident care as directed
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops as directed
Follow infection prevention and control policies and procedures
Requirements:
Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma graduation
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Know simple treatments and related bedside care techniques
Understand sanitation, cleaning, and geriatric resident needs
Bring resident care, observation, documentation, and infection prevention knowledge to AgeCare’s supportive care communities.
